Homemade Miracle Grow & Bug/Slug Repellent All In One

 

Spring has finally arrived :) and as we look forward to planting our vegetable gardens and flower/plant beds, nobody is looking forward to all the destructive pest that come alone with it :(Luckily I have the Best garden tip you will ever need, I have been using this tip for over 25 years.

It’s an All Natural Bug Repellent and Miracle Grow Recipe for ALL your garden needs. I have used this recipe for everything in my yard, Hostas, Flowers, Bushes, Trees and even my Grass. I haven’t found anything that this natural recipe hasn’t be able to help with. Not only does this home remedy kill bugs, it also provides your plants some much need nutrients and you will quickly see your plants, trees and bushes start to thrive.

Natural Bug Repellent supplies needed: 

  • Hose Sprayer feeder
  • 1 cup of Listerine Mouthwash (original)
  • 1 cup of Epson Salt
  • 1 cup Ammonia
  • 1 cup Ajax Dish soap (lemon)
  • 1/2 Cup Powder non-fat milk (Optional – Use only if your plants are really struggling. Don’t use milk more then once a month)
  • Optional Blue food coloring (This is so you can easily determine if you have used up all your mixture

Very Important you MUST use a sprayer hose feeder. This will ensure the your plants and bushes are NOT getting too much of the mixture!

Add the Mouthwash, Epson Salt and Ammonia to the sprayer container, stir, then top off the container with the Dish Soap.

Place top back onto the container and hook up to the hose.

Be sure to spray on the leaves of the plants, trees and bushes you wish to treat

This remedy is safe enough to use on a weekly bases if you wish, I found that once a month is plenty.

If your area is experiences a lot of rain then you may want to apply this treatment weekly.

When you are done feeding your plants, turn the spray feeder upside down while spraying to empty the container.
