A while back I came acrossed how to make your own scratch offs, all though I thought it was a good idea I thought what would I use it for, until I was planning my daughter’s Bridal shower and we were trying to come up with some games.
We needed a shower game for our two big door prizes, we thought about putting the bride & grooms name under the chair… boring. Then I remembered the scratch off and I thought we could do “Find the Bride & Groom” scratch off game, I mean who doesn’t like scratch offs??
Here’s how I done it…
- My daughter designed the card in picmonkey. She done it 2 up (that gives us two cards per print) and saved it to my computer.
- Then I uploaded the cards we designed to Walmart photo studio and had them printed for 15 cents for 4×6. You can save a little money if you order them and have them sent you.
Here’s how to do it…
- Mix 3 teaspoons paint and 1 teaspoon of dish soap. I used silver craft paint. If you measure out the dish soap first the paint will come out easier because the soap will coat the spoon.
- You will need to cover the prized that is to be revealed with clear tape to protect it.
- Mix well.
- Paint over the image. I used two coats, be sure to let the paint dry in between coats.
- Dust with a little baby powder to prevent from sticking.
- That’s it… It’s that EASY! We’ll be using them this weekend so I will let you know how it goes.
